Welcome to the Kunming Chenggong Hash House Harriers – where pavement meets pint, parks meet marks and every run is an adventure! Whether you’re a seasoned hare or a curious newcomer, we invite you to lace up your sneakers, grab a beer, and join our merry band of “(un)civilized drinking club with a running problem.”

Our Hares lay mysterious chalk trails that twist through city parks, wind along hidden alleys, and climb up remote mountain trails with stunning views and even better beer stops. You might find yourself scrambling over rocky peaks, ducking through bamboo groves, or catching your breath beside a temple as you toast your fellow Hashers at a surprise beer stop. Follow the flour and chalk, dodge the false trails, and chase down your fellow Hashers in a spirited 5-25 km trail that tests your legs, your wits, and, most importantly, your drinking stamina.
Miss a clue? Take a penalty pint. Show up late? Earn yourself a sleeve. Forget your running shoes? You’ll be the subject of our legendary Hash “Punishment Circle.” Every infraction is an excuse to drink, laugh, and bond—so don’t be shy!
Ready to run, drink, and be merry? Check our upcoming events, grab a drink ticket, and become part of Kunming’s most irreverent drinking club with a running problem. Your first experience with us will leave you breathless, shameless and smiling all the way home, just don’t be surprised if you end up volunteering to Hare the next trail!
